Sage 100 does not publish a price list. It is sold by Sage partners as a yearly subscription per user, in three bundles: Essentials, Advanced and Complete. Published partner figures put a user at roughly $816 to $1,089 a year with Silver Business Care, and independent estimates range from about $55 to $150 per user per month depending on edition and modules. Implementation adds roughly $15,000 to $75,000 in year one.

The catch most buyers miss is in the bundle line. The cheapest bundle, Essentials, has no Sales Order and no Purchase Order module. A distributor or manufacturer that takes customer orders and buys from suppliers needs Advanced at minimum, so a quote built on the Essentials number understates the real cost. The figures below come from Sage partner pricing pages and independent ERP pricing research, read in October 2026. Where sources disagree, we show the range rather than pick one.

How much does Sage 100 cost?

Expect about $70 to $110 per user per month on subscription for a typical distribution company, before implementation. Published estimates span $55 to $150 per user per month across editions, and Sage partner list prices with Silver Business Care start at $816 per user per year for Essentials and $998 for Advanced. A 10-user company on Advanced is therefore looking at roughly $10,000 a year in subscription, plus a one-time implementation that usually lands between $15,000 and $75,000.

Sage 100 pricing by bundle

Sage packages Sage 100 into three subscription bundles. Each one includes everything in the bundle before it. The Essentials module list comes from Rand Group's Sage 100 pricing guide, and the Advanced and Complete additions and starting prices from the published list of Competitive Strategies, another Sage partner, quoted with Silver Business Care.

BundleWhat it addsPartner list priceWho it fits
EssentialsGeneral Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Business Insights, Custom Office, Credit Card Processing, Visual Integrator, Sage Intelligence, Crystal ReportsFrom $816 per user per yearService firms with no inventory, no sales orders and no purchase orders
AdvancedInventory Management, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Multi-Bin BasicFrom $998 per user per yearDistributors and wholesalers
CompleteBill of Materials, Return Merchandise Authorization, Sage MobilityFrom $1,089 per user per yearLight manufacturers and assemblers

Payroll, Job Cost, Production Management and other modules are priced as add-ons on top of a bundle, and third-party add-ons for ecommerce, warehouse management or CRM are billed by their own vendors. Rand Group notes these can add anything from a few hundred to several thousand dollars depending on complexity.

What independent pricing research reports

Partner list prices are the floor. Independent research that looks at real contracts and full editions shows a wider spread, mostly because of module choices and negotiation.

Rand Group (updated April 2026)Rough starting estimate $94 a monthVaries by size and deploymentThree bundles: Essentials, Advanced, Complete

Edition names differ between sources because older research still uses Standard, Advanced and Premium, the labels Sage used before it moved to the bundle model. Treat the Essentials, Advanced and Complete names as current when you talk to a partner.

How much does Sage 100 implementation cost?

Plan for $15,000 to $75,000 for a standard rollout with data migration, setup and training, and well over $100,000 if you customize heavily or add several third-party products. Implementation is billed by the Sage partner you choose, not by Sage, so the hourly rate and the scope in the statement of work matter more than the subscription line. Vendor Benchmark puts a standard implementation at three to six months.

Two scope items drive most overruns: converting open orders and history from the old system, and building import routines for documents that arrive from outside. Ask the partner to price each one separately so you can see where the hours go. If the shortlist also includes the larger Sage ERP, compare against Sage X3 pricing per user and implementation, where implementation alone usually starts around $150,000.

Is Sage 100 a subscription or a perpetual license?

New Sage 100 customers buy a subscription, usually on a one-year or three-year term, priced per user and by bundle. Perpetual licenses still exist on older installs, and ERP Research puts them at about $3,000 to $6,000 per user plus roughly 20 percent of the license fee each year for Business Care maintenance. If you are renewing an old perpetual install, price the move to subscription before the maintenance renewal date.

What a 10-user Sage 100 company pays in year one

Here is a worked example for a distributor with 10 users on the Advanced bundle, built only from the published figures above. Your quote will differ, but the shape is typical.

Cost lineLowHighBasis
Subscription, 10 users on Advanced$9,980$12,600$998 per user per year list to $105 per user per month
Implementation and migration$15,000$75,000Partner statement of work
Add-ons such as Payroll or warehouse tools$0Several thousandOnly if you need them
Year one totalAbout $25,000About $90,000 or moreBefore negotiation

From year two the implementation line falls away and the subscription is the main cost, which is why the renewal increase matters. A 5 to 8 percent uplift each year compounds quickly on a 20 or 30 user account.

The order desk cost that never shows up in the Sage 100 quote

The Advanced bundle gives you Sales Order Entry and Purchase Order Entry. It does not give you anyone to type in the purchase orders your customers email as PDFs. Sage 100 brings orders in through Visual Integrator, and Visual Integrator only reads structured files such as CSV, so a customer PO has to become rows first. On a busy desk that is hours a day of retyping part numbers, quantities and prices, and every keying error turns into a wrong shipment or a pricing dispute.

That is the gap PurchaseOrders fills. Upload the customer PO, the PDF, a scan or a photo, and get the header and every line back as Excel, CSV or JSON in the flat one-row-per-line shape a Visual Integrator job reads. The Sage 100 sales order import page shows the field mapping, the Next setting that groups lines into orders, and the alias trick for customer part numbers. If you also key supplier POs, the same workflow is on Sage 100 purchase order import.

PurchaseOrders planMonthly pricePages a monthFits
Starter$492,500One order desk clearing daily customer POs
Plus$14910,000Several desks or a busy distribution branch
Pro$49935,000High-volume order entry across locations

Every plan starts with 25 free pages to test on your own purchase orders, and annual billing lowers the monthly rate. Next to a Sage 100 subscription of around $1,000 per user per year, removing the retyping from one order desk is usually the cheapest productivity line in the whole stack.

If Sage Intacct is on the shortlist too, we priced both for the same 10-user distributor in Sage 100 vs Sage Intacct.

How to negotiate the Sage 100 quote

Partners have room to move. Vendor Benchmark reports discounts of 15 to 30 percent off list through negotiation, and 20 to 28 percent for customers who benchmark before renewal. A few practical levers:

  • Buy the bundle you need, not the one above it. If you do not build products, Complete adds nothing Advanced lacks for a distributor.
  • Count real users. Warehouse staff who only scan or look up stock may not need full seats.
  • Lock the renewal. Ask for a capped uplift on a three-year term so the 5 to 8 percent increase does not arrive unannounced.
  • Split the implementation scope. Price migration, training and import routines as separate lines.

The same discipline applies to the modules you keep for collections. Accounts Receivable is in every bundle, but it records what customers owe rather than chasing them. If late payers are the bigger problem, automated invoice reminders by email and text sit beside Sage 100 without changing the ERP.

Sage 100 pricing questions

How much does Sage 100 cost per user per month?

Roughly $55 to $150 per user per month, depending on the bundle and modules. Published partner list prices work out to about $68 a month for Essentials, $83 for Advanced and $91 for Complete when billed yearly with Silver Business Care, and independent research reports higher figures once add-ons and premium support are included.

Does Sage 100 include purchase orders and sales orders?

Only from the Advanced bundle up. Essentials covers the financial modules, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables and Bank Reconciliation, while Sales Order, Purchase Order and Inventory Management arrive with Advanced. A business that buys stock or takes customer orders should price Advanced, not Essentials.

Is Visual Integrator included in Sage 100?

Yes. Sage partners list Visual Integrator inside the Essentials bundle, so every current subscription includes it. It imports and exports CSV and text files into Sage 100 modules, including Sales Order Entry and Purchase Order Entry, but it does not read PDF documents. Those need converting into rows first.

Can you buy Sage 100 directly from Sage?

In practice, no. Sage sells and supports Sage 100 mainly through value-added resellers, and the partner you choose prices the subscription, runs the implementation and provides support. Get quotes from two or three partners, because implementation rates and scope vary far more than the subscription price.

For other systems priced the same way, see Acumatica pricing by edition and transaction tier, SAP Business One pricing per user, purchase order software for Sage Intacct and the Sage 300 vs Sage Intacct comparison, and the multi-company step up is priced in Sage 300 pricing.
